In this era of intense work pressure and busy time schedules, social life has taken a back seat. Nowadays, people are finding new ways or rather e – ways to get engaged into a social life. The internet users have discovered e-ways (read online ways or easy ways) like Blogging (websites like Blogger, Wordpress), Micro-blogging (Twitter, Google Buzz), social network updates (on Facebook ,Orkut ), online forums as their new channels of expression. Initially, people used to first meet and then interact whereas now, they first interact online and then fix social meetings indicating a clear paradigm shift in their approach to building a social life.
Now, for people to easily express themselves, they resort to their e-ways with micro-blogging and blogging being the most popular forms. There are 3 major reasons for the popularity of the e-ways – first, it provides for a platform with numerable features like uploading pictures, videos, commenting, counter-commenting on one dashboard (that act as figures of speech) where we can portray our creativity level, personality and the thinking process. Second, we can interact easily with people of the same interest levels. Finally, the scope of communication spans all the internet users in the world, in simple words – it’s a huge space for our social life to evolve.
